Pizza dough is okay and doesn't feel like traditional Neapolitan Pizza. Very doughy. Marinara sauce is on the sweet side. Yesterday on Sunday, went there in person. Due to wanting to try specific flavors as first time, paid full price for both pizzas since not available on BOGO, no problem. While ordering regular menu pizzas, I ordered the Hawaiian pizza and asked to remove one item since not a fan of honey which was allowed. I then asked for a simple modification to try their vodka sauce as a base on the Margherita one and zero customer service saying nicely why they will not do it, he was annoyed I even asked the question and ringed the wrong pizza (Vodka Pesto on POS) when I clearly said Margherita pizza with vodka base. I understand no modifications when ordering a promotion, but if paying full price for an item why not honor the different suave? Overall, didn't like the marinara sauce as too sweet so guess will never be back since they will not do Vodka sauce as a base. Glad other people like it but only worth it if doing the BOGO deal. Place pickup order on their website ahead of time or else expect 25-30min wait times for in person orders. Personally, I would say Frankie

I’ve been to damn near every pizza joint in NYC.. this one really took me by surprise. We were enamoured by the red outdoor seating, which led us to walk up and chat with the owner. We ended up getting the Hawaiian pizza.. and wow.. it really hits every single taste bud available within your mouth. The service, and speed of service was outstanding. I would have had a picture of the good, but we demolished it within seconds. Will be back next time I dj at summer club NYC.

First the pizza is great, second the sign of a good business is how they handle issues, we had a delivery mishap, Luca handled it very well, re made it and re delivered it very quickly, and called to make sure we had our pizza. And lastly the pizza is delicious and really well crafted. Peanut loves it too!

I ordered delivery service and took advantage of their buy 1 get 1 free on the Margherita pizza. I selected the “lightly cooked” option which they have done successfully in previous orders. However, when both pizza arrived the pizzas were cooked pretty hard. I called the restaurant and was told that during the last round of orders that several orders are cooked at the same time which caused the pizzas to cook faster, which doesn’t really make sense to me. She said she couldn’t comp the pizzas because one was already comped and that at best she could make a note for next time. It’s definitely not the end of the world, but it’s annoying to have two cold pizzas that I don't want. That said, I’ve ordered from here before and the flavor of the pizzas really are good so this wouldn’t stop me from ordering from them again. This was just a really lackluster experience and I was annoyed enough to write a review. Pizzas I’ve had before now were 4 stars and these pizzas here I’d give a 2, hence the 3 star rating. —————— UPDATE: I forget when I ordered from them last but today is 5/4/16. This order? Nailed it. Pizza is perfect. Tastes amazing. I’m very, very pleased and thought it absolutely

Lupo Rosso offers delicious pizza. We usually order from there and have not yet eaten in person but it is on our to do list. Location is a little isolated but so far their pizza has always been good whenever we ordered. When the weather gets a little warmer we will try it in person as well and update the review accordingly.
